For refrigeration, plumbing and electrical contractors. You buy at dealer pricing, set your own retail, and bill your customer for the hardware and the install. Monitoring is billed by Fahren directly to them — you never invoice or chase a subscription.
Talk to us about becoming a dealerThe dealer account is free and unlimited. We make our money on hardware, and so do you.
No monthly fee, no sensor cap, every feature on. You are never billed for your own dealer account.
Buy at dealer pricing and set your own retail. Installation and service are yours to price however you want.
Manage every customer and sensor from one place, generate signup codes, and see all your installs on a map.
On a paid plan your customer can share their sensors back to you, so their equipment stays on your phone after handover.
Customers pay Fahren directly for monitoring. You do not invoice or collect subscription fees.
No minimum order, no annual commitment, no territory contract. Sell one or sell a hundred.
Four steps. The sensor is tested and handed over before you leave.
Add the sensor in the app, set the thresholds, trip the alarm and watch it fire. You are the installer, so you verify your own work before you drive away — not the customer, days later, on a sensor nobody has tested.
Assign the sensor to them from your portal and give them a signup code. They create their own account and the sensor moves across, thresholds and history intact.
Up to 4 sensors are monitored free, forever. If they have more, they pick a paid plan and pay Fahren directly. Either way the install never fails in the field.
Until the customer claims the sensor, it stays on your account and alerts you. A sewage pit does not go unwatched because someone was slow with a signup form. Your portal lists everything still unassigned.
This is the part most monitoring companies are vague about, so here it is plainly.
| Question | Answer |
|---|---|
| Who owns the sensor? | Your customer, once you assign it |
| Who does the customer pay for monitoring? | Fahren, directly |
| Who do they pay for hardware and labour? | You, at your price |
| Who owns the data? | The customer — and it follows the sensor |
| If you stop dealing, what happens to your customers? | Nothing. They keep monitoring. |
Plenty of programs have the dealer collect the monitoring fee and pass a cut back. We deliberately don't. It means you never front someone else's subscription, never chase a declined card, and — the important one — if your business winds down, your customers' freezers keep being watched. Their monitoring is not tied to your solvency. That is a better promise for them, which makes it an easier sale for you.
No. There is no minimum order, no annual commitment, and no shelf stock requirement.
Yes, and some dealers will. Your dealer account is unlimited, so you can monitor clients on it and charge them whatever you like. The trade-off: you handle every threshold change yourself, and if you stop, your customers lose access to hardware in their own buildings.
Nothing for up to 4 sensors, forever. Beyond that, plans run from $5/month. See current pricing.
They drop to the free plan. Their first four sensors keep monitoring permanently and nothing is deleted. No one's cooler goes dark over a card that expired.
No. If you can mount a box and connect two wires to a dry contact, you can install Fahren. Setup is done from your phone over Bluetooth.
Talk to us. The program is invite-based right now — we set your account up by hand and walk you through the first install.
Tell us what you install today and where you work. We'll take it from there.
